Social Value International (SVI) is a global organisation working to change the way society accounts for value, so that decisions reflect what truly matters to people and the planet.

By setting principles and standards for social value, strengthening practice, and advocating for systems change, SVI helps shift decision-making beyond narrow economic definitions of value.

For over 15 years, SVI has convened a diverse international community across more than 60 countries to build the capability, evidence and momentum needed for lasting change.

Our commitment as a global network

SVI is a global network of networks. Together with our Joint Member Networks, Associate Networks, members and partners, we are united by a shared mission to change the way society accounts for value.

These commitments set out how we work together across countries, cultures and contexts. They provide a common foundation for trust, accountability and collaboration across the global social value movement.
