SVI Standards public consultation

Led by Yulia Romaschenko, Technical Director at Social Value International
Open to All | Helpful for Those with Technical or Practitioner Experience

Social Value International (SVI) is hosting a two-part technical session aimed at deepening the understanding and application of the Standards for Applying the Principles of Social Value. This series is an important opportunity to engage directly with the ongoing public consultation process.

Why Public Consultation Matters

Public consultations are a vital part of how SVI ensures its standards remain inclusive, practical, and globally relevant. Your participation helps shape the future direction of how social value is defined and delivered, especially as expectations around sustainability, stakeholder accountability, and ESG performance continue to grow. Whether you're a seasoned practitioner or just starting your journey in social impact measurement, your insights are welcome.

Session breakdown

In the second session we will talk about Principles 5-8:

  1. Do not overclaim

  2. Be transparent

  3. Verify the result

  4. Be responsive.

Yulia will also lead a discussion on the SVI Reporting Standard that has been published for the first time and explore its connection with SVI report assurance.
