International accounting standards are built on the proposition that users of financial reports make decisions with an expectation of financial returns only.

We worked with Ipsos to survey 8,000 people across eight countries, and ran our own parallel survey with investment professionals across 20 countries.

At the heart of our survey was an important issue:
financial reports are designed to meet the information needs of the “maximum number of primary users”. So we asked who those users really are, and whether their needs are being met.

The results are in and are being analysed. To be among the first to see them, leave your details below and we'll send the findings as soon as they're published.
