Whānau Tahi’s Navigator - the only SVI accredited software in New Zealand for its implementation of Social Return on Investment (SROI) - is a digital case management and family-centred planning platform, designed to support integrated service delivery across health, social, Indigenous, and community organisations.
Built on Microsoft’s secure cloud infrastructure with configurable reporting and intuitive, family-led data capture, Navigator empowers communities and organisations to clearly demonstrate impact and uplift communities through outcomes rooted in Māori/Indigenous models of well-being.
Developed by Social Value Consultancy in partnership with Compliance Chain, the Social Value Management Platform is purpose-built to support public sector organisations and procurement teams in forecasting, measuring and evaluating social, economic and environmental impact across the full lifecycle of programmes and contracts.
The platform enables authorities and delivery partners to assess performance against Social Value objectives, economic contribution and environmental sustainability commitments. By quantifying and monetising impact, it provides robust evidence to inform procurement decisions, strengthen stakeholder engagement and improve accountability.
This structured approach supports transparent Social Value reporting, aligns with responsible procurement practices and helps organisations demonstrate measurable outcomes, enhancing public trust, delivering value for money and attracting investment aligned with social value and sustainability priorities.

The Social Value Engine was developed by Rose Regeneration and East Riding of Yorkshire Council in response to the Public Services (Social Value Act 2012) which requires Public Bodies to think about how they can also secure wider social, economic and environmental benefits. The SVE works alongside and has incorporated Social Return on Investment principles (SROI) and The Principles of Social Value.
Do you have a tool or software that would benefit from being Accredited?
Social Value International (SVI) have been accrediting software in alignment with the Social Value Principles since 2013. Software accreditation assesses that your software enables a user to capture the information required to complete a Social Value analysis in line with the SVI framework for accounting for value which is used to facilitate the application of The Principles of Social Value.
