GIST Impact meets with No 10 Downing Street
GIST Impact was recently invited to No. 10 Downing Street to engage with the UK Government’s new Office for the Impact Economy - a central hub within the Cabinet Office designed to strengthen strategic partnerships between government, impact investors, purpose-driven businesses, and philanthropists.
The GIST Impact team - Pavan Sukhdev (Founder & CEO), Mahima Sukhdev (Chief Growth Officer) and Karan Peer (Head of Social), were joined by Nick Pryde and Sir Andrew Strauss OBE from partner organisation TTB Sport, to discuss how the positive social impact of sport can be measured and mobilised to deliver broader economic and community benefits. The Office’s mission, to ensure public funding works harder and that impact capital is catalysed effectively, aligns with our shared commitment to advancing meaningful, data-driven impact measurement.
It was clear from the meeting that this agenda is a strategic priority at the highest level of government in the UK. GIST Impact and TTB Sport are immensely proud to contribute their expertise to shaping how the impact of sport can be evaluated, understood, and supported at scale.
