ISVCON 2026 explores the future of trusted social value
The Institute for Social Value welcomed professionals from across the public, private and voluntary sectors to ISVCON 2026, centred around the theme Leading the Future of Trusted Social Value.
The conference brought together practitioners, commissioners, businesses, charities and community organisations for a day of discussion, learning and collaboration, exploring the opportunities and challenges shaping social value practice across the UK.
The programme opened with a keynote from Danny Donnelly, who shared his lived experience as a young carer with honesty and authenticity. His story offered a powerful reminder that social value is ultimately about people and the impact that decisions have on everyday lives.
Throughout the day, expert panels explored a range of topics, from leadership and delivery to community engagement and collaboration. Speakers shared practical experience, emerging ideas and diverse perspectives, encouraging meaningful discussion on how trusted social value can continue to evolve in practice.
The event was supported by sponsors Thrive and Amentum, with Excel London hosting the conference. Their support helped create a space for professionals from across sectors to connect, exchange ideas and strengthen relationships within the social value community.
As the sector continues to mature, events such as ISVCON provide valuable opportunities to share learning, challenge thinking and build the partnerships needed to advance trusted social value in the years ahead.
