Vietnam Impact 360°: A Closer Look at Vietnam’s Impact Venture

What does the impact entrepreneurial ecosystem in Vietnam look like? Where are the underserved sectors, geographical concentrations, or untapped opportunities?

Vietnam is currently undergoing a transformative phase, marked by a strong emphasis on sustainable development, social innovation, and economic advancement. This transition is accompanied by a growing commitment to addressing social and environmental challenges in alignment with the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). In this context, impact entrepreneurship and social ventures have emerged as critical drivers of change, delivering innovative solutions to some of the country’s most pressing issues.

Despite this progress, the ecosystem continues to lack a crucial component: a clear, up-to-date, and accessible overview of key stakeholders, their locations, and the ways in which they are interconnected.

To address this gap, Impact Link Asia will launch its latest initiative, Vietnam Impact 360°, on 30 September 2025. This project is designed to map out and strengthen Vietnam’s impact ecosystem by providing greater visibility into its structure and dynamics.

The project will deliver two key outputs:

  1. An online interactive platform that visually maps ecosystem stakeholders according to their focus areas, stages of development, and alignment with the SDGs. The platform will serve as a dynamic and evolving tool, updated annually to ensure continued relevance and usability for ecosystem practitioners.

  2. A comprehensive 2025 report informed by desk research, stakeholder interviews, sample analyses, and insights from both global and regional ecosystem builders. This report will adopt a more data-driven and quantitative approach than prior studies, offering fresh perspectives on the current landscape, its challenges, and opportunities for growth.

Members of the Social Value International (SVI) community are invited to engage in two key ways:

  • By attending upcoming awareness-raising events where key findings and insights will be shared.

  • By participating in ongoing discussions about how the social value movement can contribute to nurturing and supporting Vietnam’s growing impact ecosystem.

The overarching aim of Vietnam Impact 360° is to accelerate collaboration, inform smarter resource allocation, and support the long-term development of Vietnam’s impact economy.
