She as very strong and practical auditing experience, with particular strength in identifying gaps across suites of projects, and identifying opportunities for more effective environmental risk management. Sandra specialises in development of sustainability standards for Eco Choice Aotearoa; EHS compliance audits; environmental risk management; and auditing and development of Environmental Management Systems (EMS) and Integrated Management Systems (IMS). Sandra is also a Project Director and technical reviewer for projects related to the storage, and management of hazardous substances, and H&S gap analysis and risk registers.
Sandra has been appointed by Standards New Zealand’s Standards Approval Board to represent New Zealand on the International Standards Organization (ISO) Technical Committee ISO/TC 207 SC 3 for Environmental Management, and joint Australia and New Zealand standards committees EV-021 for Environmental Management and Sustainable Development and QR-010 for Conformity Assessment.
Sandra is a qualified Environmental Management Systems Lead Auditor, a Registered Verifier for Eco Choice Aotearoa (ECA) and Good Environmental Choice Australia (GECA), and a certified trainer for the UNDP SDG Impact Seal.
