KUSIF is hosting their Social Value and SROI Practitioner Training.
While companies do not have difficulty calculating the economic returns of their financial investments, they may have difficulty calculating the social and environmental impacts of their activities. SROI methodology; It allows institutions to financially calculate the value of the environmental, social or other changes they create through their activities. This technique covers the tools and skills required to measure the impact of institutions' work. It also plays an important role in helping institutions make strategic plans and evaluate their projects.
About the Trainer
Agata Fortuna, SROI Accredited Practitioner and Trainer
Agata Fortuna graduated from Jagiellonian University, Department of Philology, Department of Turkish Language and Literature. In 2009, she completed her master's degree at the Faculty of International Relations and Political Science at the University of Lodz. She took part in different national and international projects titled capacity building of young people, cultural learning, dialogue in conflict environments, social technology and social entrepreneurship. Fortuna, who has been working in the field of civil society in Turkey since 2009, is a board member of YouthBank International and works as a project and training officer in the field of social impact measurement and management at Koç University Social Impact Forum (KUSIF). Fortuna, an international trainer such as Efiko Academy, creates training content, provides training and consultancy on social impact measurement and management. Social Value International Level 3 Accredited Practitioner and Trainer Fortuna is an Accredited Trainer for the Sustainable Development Goals Impact Standards (SDG Impact Standards).
Date and Time
The training will take place on the Koç University campus (Rumelifeneri Yolu, Sarıyer) between 09:00-16:30 for 2 days on 23-24 November. The language of the training to be given by SROI Practitioner and Trainer Agata Fortuna is Turkish. This training aims to provide participants with the necessary knowledge and skills to apply the SROI technique in their own work.
